Living with intention is a key ingredient for experiencing a life of fulfillment.
I hope you’re not one of those that’s counting on winning the lottery to secure your financial future.
Instead, my hope is that you’ve chosen to save and plan for your future.
Unfortunately, not everyone does. The same holds true for those who live their lives in such a way that they are reacting to what comes their way. Instead, I want to encourage you to live your life by choice over chance. The key to doing that requires being intentional.
Here’s the definition of intentional: “Having to do with intention. Done with intention, design, or purpose; intended; designed.”
Pretty much what you’d expect right?
Steps to living an intentional life
1. Record what you want your life to look like. Too big a project for you? Start with a piece of your life, your career, faith life, or family life.
2. Decide on some specific actions you will do each day that will create the outcome you want. Keep the items front and center. Work at those things daily.
3. Record your progress. If it’s worth working towards, it is worth measuring your progress. This keeps you accountable. I recommend keeping a journal.
4. Adopt this as your new approach to life and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll be surprised at the difference this makes in your life.
It’s your life, LIVE BIG
