The list goes on and on, but the important thing to remember is that whatever we decide to call it, for some reason or another we have been called to see it to manifestation. Does that mean that we're going to be able to make it happen easily? Probably not. In many cases it's going to take a lot of hard work. Perhaps at times your goals will appear as though they're out of your grasp. Trust me on this when I assure you that you're not alone in this feeling. It's a perfectly normal phase of the achievement process. The key is that you continually move towards achievement. Even when you feel you're not making progress, keep moving forward. Take the time along the way to track your progress in a journal, or by making notes. You'll find this is a wonderful way to remind yourself that you are making reaching your intended destination... We've all heard tale of the person that finds a way to make a living from their hobby.... What we don't hear near enough is that it happens more than we may realize! What's interesting is that it's actually easier than you may think. Achievement of just about anything is going to take it's fair share of time and effort. This much we do know. Therefore focussing in on the things you enjoy only makes sense. By doing so we get a big plus in our corner in that suddenly we don't "dread" doing the mundane tasks that are necessary to find the often illusive prize of achievement... However, really think about this for a second. Ask yourself if what you're doing right now is really inline with the values that you find important. Chances are if they aren't you might not be living up to the potential that might lay ahead of you in another area... Find out where you're talents lay and you'll leverage your true potential. Here's a quick tip to help you. Look for things that you'd do even if you weren't getting paid for it. Is there a way you can do those things? Even if you have to start part time... Your friend in cyberspace, Josh Hinds posted by Josh Hinds | Permalink Friday, July 06, 2001 Living beneath your means - Recently while reading a book called the Millionaire Mind I came across an interesting statistic I wanted to share here. Basically the book is based on a collection of surveys of people who have attained monetary wealth (note: I personally believe that wealth comes in many forms, certainly not just monetary ones)... I hope that you'll take to heart the meaning of this little statistic and find it to be as important as I do. "Out of those millionaires who strive to operate productive households, more then half (53 percent) rate living below there means as either very important or important". To me this teaches the importance of saving. Plain and simple. I hope you will do as I do and attempt to emulate this advice. In the long run I think we'll all be better for it...
