What did you see on the news last night?
I’ll tell you what I saw–out of a 30 minute newscast, and not counting commercials, I saw 11 stories. Out of the 11 stories 9 of them were about something negative. Is this unusual? Sadly, no, it’s not.
We live in what I call a “toxic” environment. It’s all around us and makes it increasingly challenging to see the positive and bright side, doesn’t it? Negativity is all around us. We see it on television and listen to it in song. Of course, it’s not ALL negative but there is so much of it out there that it is critical that you don’t get swept up in it.
The thing that’s interesting is, we want to feel good. It’s natural to want to be happy and feel good about ourselves, others and life! However there’s all this negativity going on around us and I’m here to tell you that you do not have to believe in it. Sure, people do negative things but this doesn’t mean my life or yours has to be affected by it.
This universe we live in is made of energy.
Negative energy is “heavy” and it doesn’t feel good. It makes us tired and sluggish and your body knows it!
Positive energy, on the other hand is “lighter” and your body loves it. This is why we feel so much better when we’re around it and “in it”.
The “Wired to Win™” Program is all about raising your personal energy so that you live, work or play in this positive frequency more often.
Consider the following 3 step to raising your “frequency” every day:
1. Celebrate The Positive …
How do you find more positivity in your life if you’re not looking for it? You won’t. Purposefully and consciously find 7 positive things each day. This will force your mind to search for them and you will find them. When you do find them celebrate them by complimenting someone, yourself and outwardly acknowledging it (i.e. “you look great in that shirt”).
2. Ask Better Questions …
Great questions lead to higher positive energy. Ask: If I were really positive—what would I say/do right now? What would love do right now?
Questions like these put you into that “higher vibe” where you will lighter and happier.
3. Stop watching the News …
Or any other medium that tries to “dump” toxic waste on you all the time. How much of it do you really need to know anyway? Make a conscious choice to simply not give it your attention. Instead, put your attention on things that make you feel good (a hobby, a passion, an interest, a book, etc.). Feel good every chance you get!
The world might be negative around you but that doesn’t mean you have to buy into it.
Go forth and have a high frequency day!
